Serving

The service council oversees a number of ministries such as finances and giving, the RBC libraries (audio, book, video), the building committee and related projects, RBC policies and procedures, the web site, sound and projection, as well as a host of other serving ministries.

 Audio Library

The Audio Lending Library is located on the wall just opposite the church mailboxes, and is available to all those attending RBC. The library contains tapes of our Sunday morning speakers dating back from 1990 to the present! Included in this are special guest speakers. Those who borrow tapes simply sign them out in the logbook and sign them back in when they are returned. We encourage all those who have never borrowed a tape yet to come and have a look at what the library has to offer.

For more information on the audio lending library or to see how you can help, contact David Muir or Ed Hurdle.

 Book Library

Too rushed to visit the library on a Sunday? Wonder if the library has a title that you're looking for? Good news! Members of RBC can now browse the Book Library online by logging into the members-only section of the web site. Search by author or title. Once you find what you're looking for, a visit to the library becomes much simpler! If you have any questions, we are there to help you!

We have over 2500 books due to many donations of used books, two book sales, and some books purchased through our budget. We have a good selection in many categories:

We have a great team of workers for Sunday mornings. If you would like to help,we are always looking for additional help to join us. Reading will broaden your perspectives. We want this ministry to be a blessing to you. Come and check us out!

For more information on the book library or to volunteer at the book counter on Sunday mornings, contact Phyllis Morency.

 Video Library

The video library has a variety of Christian tapes that we trust will meet the spiritual needs of our church. A special emphasis is given towards our children in order to give them alternate means of entertainment through a series of teaching tapes from Ministries like Focus On The Family, Zondervan and Billy Graham.

Our goal is to minister to all ages, and we are open to suggestions on any new material that you feel would edify the RBC community. Our library is growing -- there are presently 325 tapes available, and an average of 40 videos are borrowed each week! With that kind of volume, there is a greater need for help. If you would like to volunteer on Sunday mornings, please contact Greg Niphakis.

 Building Committee
