 Breakaways

TubingBreakaways is the RBC youth group designed for High School aged youth. Typically, this program reaches between 30 and 50 kids.

The goal of this group is to help teens know Jesus as their personal savior, to help them grow in their faith, and to empower them to share their faith at school.

This Year, in our Friday night program we will again be dividing our youth into small groups based on gender and age. Many Young Adults volunteer as small group leaders, for which we are very thankful!

Our regular program runs every Friday night from 7-9 pm (with doors open at 6:30 pm to chill or play sports), where we begin with a prayer, followed by worship, sharing, a message that examines issues through Scripture, our special group time and hanging out, of course always with plenty of fun and delicious food!

The youth also undertake various special projects/events during the year, whether serving meals to the homeless, having a gym day, or participating in World Vision's 30-Hour famine.

30-Hour Famine

"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
- Matthew 25:37 & 40

Camp Reunion

Breakaways (RBC's High School aged group) participated in a 30-hour famine at RBC to help raise funds for World Vision.
These funds will go towards efforts that help children and communities in need and give relief aid to the poor.

RBC made the Top Ten list of participants in Quebec. Congratulations Breakaways for a job well done!
