Witnessing

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching
them to obey everything I have commanded
you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age."

(Matthew 28:19-20)

Street Evangelism

On Monday evenings, several families from RBC go out together to share their faith. Striking up conversations in coffee shops, on the street and in other public places, they engage Montrealers in conversations about spiritual matters.

If you wish to join this group contact John Tabar or the Soberano family.

Times and Dates: Mondays, from 7:30-9:30 pm. The group meets up at RBC.

Personal Evangelism

"Let your light shine before men
that they may see your good deeds
and praise your Father in heaven"
(Matthew 5:16).

We encourage personal evangelism at RBC, and desire to see every Christian actively sharing his/her faith with friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, classmates and co-workers. Our goals are to:

Outreach Services

Outreach services are designed for people who are not used to being in church. Typically, RBCers invite co-workers, family, neighbors and classmates to hear the gospel, observe Christians in their worship, and then to stay for lunch afterwards. These services happen a few times per year and are well advertised in advance.

 Missions

RBC supports both local and foreign missionaries through regular monthly support.

The Missions Council maintains Missionary bulletin boards in the main foyer, with prayer letters and pictures of our missionaries. We encourage RBCers to pray diligently for them.

Each year, a Missions booklet is published. It details where the missionaries are working, their contact information, and current prayer requests.

A Monthly Missions Prayer Lunch is normally held on the second Sunday of every month. During this time, we receive presentations from visiting missionaries, pray for current mission projects and short-term initiatives, or receive reports from RBCers who have returned from a missions trip.

The 2009 Monthly Missions Lunch Schedule will be posted shortly

The Missions Council welcomes new members, feedback and suggestions for future projects.
